Some of these photos are pretty funny.

And, for being the ugliest man in baseball, he's got a very hot wife.

Hopefully Laura will inspire him to hit .300 with 30 HRs and 125 RBIs. That would be pure shenanagins.

This is quite a find. It's also a pretty good case as to why facial hair should be allowed on the Orioles. Gibbons doesn't exactly look good with a beard, but it's a much better look for him than going clean shaven.

One thing to look for: In the big group photo on the first page, 5th row, 2nd column, you can see B-Rob and his date AND it looks as though all the men in the wedding party are wearing Chuck Taylor's. I hope you're saving some of these, SC, for corny shots of Gibby to post during the season.

I can list uglier.

Julian Tavarez is so much uglier.

Vicente Padilla, not a looker.

Jim Thome, sort of the same guy but has seniority on Gibby.

All of these men are on new teams they're so ugly, and those are good photos of every one of them.

And let's not forget A-Rod, he has purple lips. And Randy Johnson.

Not Even Close to being the Ugliest

Here are a few names for the ugliest player in the history of baseball. Jay Gibbons has nothing on any of them.

For our current player, you have to go with

I still vote for Randy Johnson...

as ugliest currently active player. Mossi was so ugly it doesn't seem right to even make fun of him--imagine having to see that face in the mirror every day.

That was a nasty crack about the pre-nup. Some people actually get married because they love and trust each other. How would you like someone calling you homely? Besides, we're born with our looks, we develop our character, and it seems to me that jay has developed his light years beyond what you have developed yours.

sorry, but i'm just not seeing ugly at all when i look at jay, although he and most other guys look even better with beards. cute, no. handsome, yeah. that was a nasty comment about getting in without a prenup. some people actually marry for love. congragulations jay and laura. here's to a life filled with loving each other, til' death do you part. :-)
