Here are the picks through round eight. Lots of shortstops with the early picks, but commentators are saying Rowell (rhymes with vowel) will be a third baseman. Ryan Adams may get a bank-breaking offer from LSU which explains the infielder picks late.

It seems like they're trying to freshen up the minor league infield system this draft. Shortstops are more athletic in general than other position players, so I'd not eb surprised to see some of these guys tried in new positions.
