Gameday Thread: Jays at O's, 06/08

Roy Halladay, RH Adam Loewen, LH (7-1, 2.81) (0-0, 7.45)
Game time is 7:05 on CSN and RSN.
If we can manage a split of this series with this pitching matchup, count your blessings. Loewen didn't embarrass himself against the Yankees on June 3, but Halladay is one of the best pitchers in baseball. Loewen has thrown 9 2/3 innings this season and walked seven. In 80 innings, Halladay has walked 10 people. He walked 18 in 141 2/3 last year.
It's no fun to go into a game knowing you'll probably lose just because of the pitchers, but really, what can I do here? I love to rally the troops and all, but it's Adam Loewen against Roy Halladay. Then again, Loewen is Canadian, and might have his family watching on TV up in the tundra, so perhaps -- perhaps -- Adam Loewen is going to be extra psyched. Also the Jays have not seen him before. Oh my -- oh my God. Adam Loewen is going to mow down the Blue Jays. We're gonna win.

Counting your chickens...
But really I just want to get this thread started right... Jessica Simpson's boobs are real.
y'know, not so much.
but they seem kinda fakey to me in that video. like "something inside of something bouncing" instead of "whole thing bouncing naturally".
Really?
You know what?

re:
Now her dad, that's annoying.
however Lowen pitches,
And if he gets hooked early, there's always Birkins.
Re: Halladay. His stats are a little padded in that he has faced Tampa Bay four times this year (or to put it another way, over a third of his games have been against them. In his other 7 games, he's given up 16 runs in 47 innings, for an ERA of 2.93.
Okay, so I'm grasping at straws.
can we just talk about baseball?
