The constant Miggy trade rumors
Why? Why? Why?
Is anyone else getting sick of national sports media outlets trying to convince the O's to trade Miggy?
Does that seem like the worst possible move, or is it just me?

It's not the worst move...

Just a sec...
I'm convinced, though, it's just columnists who think they know what's best for the O's without really studying anything.
You misread...
And I agree on your other point...it takes a lot of time and energy to thoroughly cover one team properly. To cover every team would require a time investment or a level of efficiency that most people are either incapable of or unwilling to commit.

no you don't
no you are not.
it is verboten.
Miggy
I haven't seen a lot of national media
However, if the FO does entertain trade discussions about Tejada, I expect the national jabbering to increase. It would be a must topic, he's a top player in the game. Everyone will spout off an opinion, however ill-formed. Then it will get annoying.
Tejada
Because everyone knows that the O's will only trade Tejad if the trading team overpays. And that just isn't happening.
Especially...
Only we overpay for players.
It is our God given right to do so, and we hold the patent.
Anyone else caught overpaying for sucky and washed up players shall be sued for violating intellectual property rights.
