According to Ken Rosenthal, the WS offered Garcia for D-Cab and the O's refused. Garcia is signed through 07 for $10 million. I don't know if he has an option. What a tough decision... I'm leaning towards accepting the trade.

The White Sox won't trade right-hander Freddy Garcia for just a reliever; they would want a young starting pitcher, too. They inquired about Orioles Class AAA right-hander Daniel Cabrera, whom they initially would have used in relief, but to no avail.
