Proof that the media does not care about the Baltimore Orioles

(Not that they have any real reason to, but still.)

From the AP report of last night's game:

Cabrera (7-9) struck out seven and walked four in five innings. The rookie right-hander hadn't allowed a run his previous two starts, but his streak of 16 scoreless innings ended when Matthews hit a full-count pitch to center field.

He's been in the league for three full seasons, for God's sake.

Way to go last night, Nick. F you, rest of the Orioles.

I don't understand

I could watch last night, so I was relegated to listening on WBAL-AM, and what to the days when a homerun had to LEAVE THE PARK!!!! What the hell is the point in having a wall if your just going to draw a line and say "instead of hitting it way up there, you just have to make it over this line to be a homerun. I think at Camden Yards we should start making anything that hits the scoreboard in right a homerun... the line is the padding. It's f*ckin' ridiculous!!!
