Matt Weiters watch

This fall, our number one draft pick Matt Weiters is playing his baseball in the Hawaii fall league..wooden bats and all. He is playing for the Honolulu Sharks. The league has a pretty decent site, with daily box scores and game recaps.

brandon snyder and some pitchers i'm not familiar w/ are on that team. snyder was 4-6 the other night and is hitting .474 w/ 1.024 ops in 6 games. wieters started off rough, though he's walking like a mf and has gotten hits in his last couple games.

in afl, none of our pitchers have allowed a run, though jake arrieta is the only one that's pitched more than two innings. both reimold and fio are hitless through 3 games, but blake avis seems to be doing a good job of getting on base.
