is it just me or is the talk about tejada is a bit hysterical. his 2007 season still put him in the top ten (for mlb, not the al) is VORP among SS and 3B; it was his lowest ba in baltimore, but he only eclispsed .278 one season in oakland and that was his mvp season; 18 hr isn't that far off his career average and he missed 30 games; his obp in baltimore has been consistently better than his obp in oakland. that being said, his slg was down considerably, though he did have a monster august after coming off the dl. that cuts both ways, i guess.
i'm over the guy and i think he needs a change of scenery, but look at the numbers!
