D-Cab's debut
Unfortunately, I can't find any box scores which show K/BB ratios for sprint training games. And it is only spring traing after all.
But nonetheless, Cabrera's line in his first start yesterday was certainly encouraging:
Pitchers IP H R ER BB SO HR ERA
Cabrera 2 1 0 0 0 2 0 0.00
The lack of walks and low number of pitches are a nice way to start the year.
From The Post:
"I feel like I'm in shape," he said. He mixed in both his change-up and his curveball, striking out Felipe Lopez to start the game and Robert Fick in the second.
Bonus: Markickass went 3 for 4 with a double, an RBI, and two runs scored.
