O's beat Marlins 5-3 for fourth straight win
Adam Lowen tossed two scoreless innings with five strikeouts, and Ramon Hernandez and Aubrey Huff had two hits apiece, leading the Orioles to a 5-3 win over Florida, their fourth in a row.
Jeremy Guthrie threw another two scoreless innings backing up Loewen, and Danys Baez earned the save. The Todd struggled, giving up an earned run on five hits in 1 1/3 innings.
Huff and Hernandez were both 2-for-3, with Hernandez driving in two runs. Kevin Millar and Jay Payton had one RBI each.
Nick Markakis was 1-for-2, and Miguel Tejada went 0-for-2 with a run scored. Chris George took the loss for the Marlins, giving up four earned in 1 2/3 innings.
The next five up for the O's are St. Louis, Florida, Washington and the Cardinals again.
Jaret Wright is saying he's OK after his start against the Mets was cut short. And Steve Barber's arm is just a little sore.
Danys Baez "begrudgingly accepts" his role as the setup man -- yeah, thanks, dude.

Oh, is that what we're calling it now -- struggling?? The guy is toast. Why is he even on our team??? Geesh...
Begrudging Baez
Bullshit sportswriter trying to create controversy
[And clearly prepping for his role as 8th inning guy]:
"If your setup man doesn't do his job, then the closer won't get to do his," Baez said. "Your mind-set has to be the same."
There's nothing "begrudging" in that anywhere. He gives Ray his props. The headline should have simply read "Baez accepts setup role with Orioles." But then hack Ginsburg would have to work harder to sell his column.
For Pete's sake, are all sportswriters such lazy mofos that they have to light fires in clubhouses to get people to read their pap?
And in all honesty, Baez knows that if Ray falters, he is next in line to take the closer role.
eh
Personally I hope he just focuses on being the set-up guy, because I'm not that confident in him to begin with.
