Baltimore Back on Road Unis????
/crosses fingers
"Confirmed" that Baltimore will be on the uniforms next year?
/realizes that it doesn't take much to keep me happy
I think Baltimore pride is a beautiful thing, and plus, it will make all of us rush out and buy the new jersey. I'm down like Charlie Brown.
On a completely unrelated note, did anyone else who was watching the Nationals feed yesterday notice how the one announcer (not Sutton) kept saying how much we like to "throw money around in the free-agent pool"? I say lay off! If we want to spend millions of dollars on Sammy Sosa, we can do it, dammit! At least our team realizes that Tony Batista is done.....

I never bet against Angelos...
I do remember reading an interview in which Angelos said he would consider it. But my gut tells me that with his lingering bitterness over the Nationals move, Angelos would see it as "surrendering" the D.C. market to the Nats.

right now it's still a rumor
There is no reason not to. It would make the fans happy and now that the Gnats are here, it's time to give up the "regionalization" efforts and throw their core fanbase a bone.

heh, yeah
oh well, I was mildly in favor of the wright trade at the time, so I can't say too much. point is though, that it was worse than just signing the guy.

new threads
Sure, I'd like to see my home town on the uniforms. However, stating the painfully obvious, I'd like to see a better on the field product before I see new threads on their backs.
