Damn, We're Cheap

Has anyone else noticed that the promotional orange "O" car magnets that were given out at the beginning of the season have already started to fade? I know mine is, and I've seen some really bad examples today driving around downtown.

I think it was a really great promotion and I see them everywhere, but geez, come on guys...at least get a magnet manufacturer who's colors don't begin to fade in less than a month. What did they think, that we would keep them in our fridge, or perhaps stored away in acid-free archival boxes?

So cheap.

My car is garaged

So things weather pretty slowly... we'll see how long mine holds out. For now it still looks nice.

Mine doesn't stick to my car anymore

I don't know if it was the pollen or the baking sun or cheap magnet or what, but about a week ago I noticed the top and bottom edges of the magnet weren't sticking to my car, so I took it off so it wouldn't fly away. I then washed my car and tried to put it back on, but it still wouldn't stick all the way. But I left it on there, and sure enough, it flew off while I was driving.
