Ripe language, leering, etc. on sports blogs

is not exactly a novel topic, and most of the country would likely respond, if polled on the propriety of such, Whaddaya mean, that's what sports blogs are f**ckin' *for--now let's post that Melissa Lima pic again, this time superimposing Big John Holmes.

And I don't exactly disagree with that (OK, except the Holmes part)-- but I do have to say that the piece in today's Wash Post about Allison Stokke, the California hottie pole vaulter (OK, supply your own joke here _______) did give me pause. I'm for freedom of expression, on the internet and elsewhere-- hey, I live in frickin' Russia-- but the overtones of this case, involving lurking, stalking, commercially exploiting and otherwise harrassing a h.s. kid (I taught h.s. for many years in NoVa) are more than a little disturbing, I think.

Am I out of line on this? What do the rest of you degenerate $&#4&%$#ers think?
