Not a good sign for the rebuilding
Hoey and Doyne, down. Shuey and Bell, up.
If this team is committed to rebuilding, giving up on young pitchers after one game (albeit a bad one) is not smart.

This fuckin' team isn't worth 300 characters.

Yeah
Hoey was TERRIBLE on Saturday. No command at all. Still, give him some chances. What do they have to lose?
I'm still hoping like hell that they'll blow this up, it sounds like MacPhail's not even been officially announced as being hired, but this still seems like a typical shortsighted Oriole move.
Bell, okay

Last i checked re-building meant going with a younger team not a bunch of old bums

re:
Given that the team is likely to be a pretty sour place for a spell, maybe it's good to keep Hoey away. He need not be exposed to the aftershocks in the clubhouse. Hopefully the palyers will decide to grow up a bit and Hoey can come up later and join the adults.
There is plenty of time to bring him up.
This is a good point.
