BREAKING: ESPN.COM - ORIOLES INK MANAGER
In an anticipated move, the Baltimore Orioles sign Louis Angelos, son of Orioles owner Peter Angelos, to manage along side interim manager Dave Trembley. Joe Girardi, 2006 Manager of the Year, recently turned down the position with the Orioles.
"Peter liked the idea of having co-managers" said New Orioles Chief Operating Officer Andy MacPhail. He added "we've had co-GMs here for a few years, and we feel having two heads in the dugout is better than one".
