Pirates fans plan walkout

Thought this was interesting. We all know how big a difference these walkouts make.

on a side note

a cleveland sports radio host was saying how this is something that's never happened before and whatnot, so I emailed in with an outline of the FTB protest, and he then said Baltimore fans are "spoiled" and "don't have it that bad". He did launch a mini attack on Angelos though, which was excellent.

I feel their pain. Obviously the walk out won't accomplish anything, but I understand the desire to do something, anything, to try and force a change.

As much as ten years suck, fifteen is a lot worse, or about five years worse. We have more cash, but they have a crappy division, I wonder which organization is more pathetic...

Funny part is...

I have GREAT seats behind home plate for when my family goes to PIT for the American Nystagmus Association convention. Four seats, only $26 each. Beautiful stadium. And I actively hope the Pirates lose, so I will probably be rewarded.

Wow, Pirate suckage does rock...

I mean, they can't even put together a winning season in the NPL!

But the media blackout on their protest is not merely discouraging-- it's frightening. It's so Soviet it makes my skin crawl. And now it's becoming so post-Soviet that I wanna go kick P-P-P-Pootin' in the shins, the dipstick. Judas Priest he's gotten annoying lately.

what the Cleveland radio fool said. Except he extended that to Baltimore as well, and started bitching about Cleveland. Cleveland sucks (contrary to what the song says) and other than this year, all of their teams are a reflection of that. He also came after me for being an Ohioan not kissing Chief Wahoo's ass. Cleveland is a sad, sad place.

Correct, duck, this is offensive...

...sort of like reading on-screen the other night that we have the "third worst bullpen in MLB." Third worst my arse. Judas Priest, what criteria were they using, what more does it take to demonstrate the worstedness of our bullpen, the Quicker F*cker-Uppers, than what we've been putting up with?
