For the first 1/4 of the season, Perlazzo's biggest managerial mistake was pulling our starters too early - and then complaining how they couldn't pitch deep in games. This had two results: 1) tired bullpen and 2) stupid looking manager.
But recently, he's done a better job letting our guys go into the 7th & 8th. Also, our starters are pitcher better with slightly lower counts - that helps.
This is important, b'c right now, about the only really good things we have is a few starters + Brian Roberts.
