Orioles at the break: highlights and lowpoints
I've been thinking about the good and bad of 2007 Orioles baseball as we move into the second half of the season. Although the team has generally been a disappointment, their have been some specific players that give Orioles fans reason to rejoice.
The good - Bedard, Guthrie, Roberts, Markakis, Walker, Bradford, Burres. But, I'll choose Millar as my favorite first half Oriole.
Also, we've had some players who have let us down more than we would have expected.
The bad - Baez, Cabrera, Patterson, Ray. My special turd player of the first half goes to Jay Gibbons. He's been a disaster. It's a tough decision, because Baez stunk it up, but I didn't expect much from him anyway, so I'm going with Gibbons.
