I'm totally geeking out about this sign that my friend gave me. She found it at an auction house, and they gave it to her. Free. These signs hung around 33rd St., Ednor Gardens, Charles Village and Memorial Stadium. It's big and metal and awesome! I will be proudly displaying this in my home.
Anyone else have any sports memorabilia that they are particularly proud of?

Uunfortunately,
nothing as utterly and completely cool and amazing as that.  KICK ASS!!!!

That thing rocks
Do you know which auction house she found it at?

I also have nothing as cool as that.  I have some huge orange and black umbrellas that are good for those "chance of rain" games.  I have a couple crappy platic seat cushions, the kind people used to put on picnic table benches at crab feasts and when you got up they'd stick onto your legs if you were wearing OP's or Daisy Dukes.  I have an old O's hat, but it's made of the worst polyester ever and is too uncomfortable to wear.  Finally I have an ancient, late 70's early 80's wall penant, which is all brown where it should be white, but it still kicks ass and is up on my wall.

I have
an official All Star game ball from OPACY when it was played there, signed by Cal and Eddie.
Also 2 balls signed almost thirty years apart by Brooks - one for my eighth birthday in 1964 at Memorial Stadium, the other at a card show when I worked at Del Park in 1994.

my cool stuff
my wife takes pictures at spring training and games and gets guys to sign them.  we have over 300 at this point and over 500 signed balls.  they're all displayed in our rec room.

the coolest thing i have is a life-size Cal Ripken growth chart poster from like 1992 or something.  wish i recorded the exact date.  i had to pay a kid $20 to get it since i was too old to get one for free when they were handing them out.  it still hangs on my wall.  i'm 40.

"I Was There" pennants from
last series @ Memorial. Dig camera is at school, so no photo evidence. But I got 'em.

I agree with the "that rocks" comment
My best memoribilia are '70 and '83 series pennants (and a '79 World Series pennant).
