Markakis is easliy a top ten OF, maybe even top 5
Would you have Nick Markakis in your top 10 OF??? Well if you said no, than you are proving my point, that he is UNDERATED...
Look at these stats... (I will even include a couple of counting stats ughh)
2B 48 1st of all OFs
HRs 20 34 of all OFs
BB 99 4th of all OFs
BA-.306 8th best of OFs
OBP .406 3RD
SLG .491 21st
OPS .897 7th
RC/G 7.42 5th
BB/K .96 3rd
OPS+ 136
WARP1 8.1
EQA .310
wOBA .398 wOBA* .402 wOBA+ 119 bRAA 37.7
.862 ZR with 17 OF Assists...
Markakis is a really good fielder as well, and has a CANNON of an ARM...
I could put him in my top 5 OFs for now, and he would DEFINETLY be in my top 5 OFs for the future
NOW Future
1.Grady Sizemore Sizemore
2. Matt Holiday Matt Holiday
3. Manny Ramirez Nick Markakis
4. Nick Markakis Granderson
5 Curtis Granderson/ BJ Upton Ryan Braun

he's good
I dunno about exact rank. but that OBP makes me all shivery. As do his swarthily handsome and yet refined features…ahem…

I knew we had something very special
when he made that catch running into the wall in Anaheim in 2007. Even if the Angels hit a three run homer the next at bat, I still felt like that could be the start of something.
Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words—"mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

he's...climbing
If the 2008 Markakis is the long-term version, then yeah, he’s going to be a top ten outfielder for a long time. If it’s more the 2007 version, not really. If it’s a healthy medium, maybe??

keith law said he thinks he's a breakout candidate next year
in a chat or something.
he didn’t specify what that means, though i suppose it means more power.

some stats
MLB OF, RC/27:
Manny
Holliday
Ludwick (wtf?)
Quentin
21
Hamilton
Bay
Sizemore
His 134 OPS+ has to be a top 10 for all MLB OF. I went to bb-ref to look it up, but i guess that’s not free. Anyone know where this can be found?
