New Unis 30% off through Friday at MLB.com
mlb.com is having a one-day sale of 30% off everything.
That means you can save about $50 on the new road unis, normally $159.
Sorry to be hawking for mlb.com, but I thought people would want to know!

Thanks for the heads up
Just purchased a brand spanking new #21 Markakis. Can’t wait to sport it at the yard this year.
How?
What I mean is, how did you get the 21 and the Markakis? I went as far as “order complete after you click this button” and I never put in a number or a name. So I’m pussying out for now.
I’ve sewed on numbers and names before, and saved some money doing so, but sewing ain’t for me.
It’s hard as shit to find the new 2009 jerseys on MLB shop. They’re still selling a whole bunch of old stuff.
THe sale has been extended through Friday, also.

you know what
Fuck it.
I clicked the button, and it sent me to a blank page that shows no promise of loading. I reloaded (and re-sent information), still waiting… I hit back and then foward, and now I’m affraid that the order was sent twice, but I don’t think that really happened.
I’m either getting a naked jersey….or two of em. I guess I’ll see whatever order confirmations come up in my e-mail by the morning.

The order didn't go through - thank god
I’ll just have to pay full price a little bit later.
Also, even though the sale has been extended through 3am Friday, the shop isn’t taking 30% off.
zknower, you were right to apologize for hawking MLB shop.

So, how's life in La-La Land?
Duck Around - a progressive blob about the Eastern Shore of Maryland. And getting off my lawn.
It's an adjustment, that's for sure.
Everything they say is true. The weather’s great. The people are flaky. And I spend half my day in my car. But we’re settlin’ in okay. I could do without the smoke from the wildfires and the Prop 8 fundies.
LA RULES!!!!
Except for the fires. That sucks. Massive black clouds hung over my apt on Saturday, kind of freaky.

SOCIAL!
You’re here. I’m here. I think exitfare is here somewhere. And I assume BirdfanLA is here.
Why aren’t we all out drinking?
I'm down
for drinks, baseball games too once the season starts. If we meet up, we should take a group picture ala N.W.A. Straight Out of Compton since it is LA afterall. I’ll be Easy E. Getting the camera to shoot upwards like the picture below might be a bit tricky.

i have a perfect camera for this.
digital, wide-angle add-on lens, shutter remote.
we on!
let’s pick a weeknight in early december and round up the troops.
Bummer
I couldn’t get the sale price. I think I’ll be sticking with my BP jersey my wife bought me. The 2008 jerseys should be on the clearance rack soon, right?
