Happy birthday and happy holidays, Baseball-Reference.com
Sean Forman, the owner and maintainer of Baseball-Reference.com, is celebrating a birthday today.
If you're like me, you've used B-R.com countless times to look up quick information, look over past teams, compare players, or just plain kill time by looking at an insane amount of baseball statistics.
That said, we baseball bloggers across SBN are spreading wishes of good cheer to B-R.com today, hoping to show appreciation for Sean's outstanding work and continued presence in the online baseball community. If you use B-R a lot, think about donating or sponsoring a page to help him cover the costs of maintaining all those servers and all that bandwidth. You'll be doing a good deed and giving Mr. Forman a very happy birthday indeed.
Thanks for all your work, Sean. We hope we can give back a little bit.

I can't imagine
What I’d do without Baseball Reference. Probably Baseball Cube, but that’s beside the point; the Cube is rarely updated anyways.
My best game plan is to sit on the bench and call out specific instructions like 'C'mon Boog,' 'Get ahold of one, Frank,' or 'Let's go, Brooks.' -Earl Weaver
Happy birthday B-R guy!
It’s one of my favorite websites ever.

B-R was the first stat site I found
and is still the one I go to the most often.
What an incredible resource! Thanks, Sean, and Happy Birthday!
Has there ever been a cooler Oriole than Eddie Murray? I mean, just straight up cool. Like a bad, suave dude. You know what I'm sayin'. COOL. SC 7/24/08

i actually may have to go sponsor a page. maybe a crappy, sentimental fave o from years bygone.

Yup.
Same here. Trembles is still available, if anyone is interested. I’m still thinking about my page to sponsor.

My stuff should show up tomorrow. Happy birthday, b-r.com guy who will never read this message but now has 10 of my hard-earned American dollars…

He will know.
Because now I get my 10% referral fee. Not really.
