Izturis passes his physical
From Roch:
There's a new shortstop in town, and his name's Cesar Izturis.
Izturis made it through his physical without any problems. You can pencil him into the lineup. I'd suggest the ninth spot.

Thank God
They didn’t catch that enlarged prostate. That would have been a bitch.
Welcome to Baltimore Cesar.
Hope you weren’t hoping to win too much next year.

Welcome, friend.
Thanks for not being Brandon Fahey.
"The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again."
+1 trillion
I hate Fahey

I never could figure out
how Brandon Fahey made it as far as he has. I know we are thin at short, but c’mon…Fahey??
Hail Cesar
If you make it past the Ides of March, you might just stick with this team.
So at least now we have a stop-gap
until our top shortstop prospect is ready. You know, ah what’s his name down there in…yeah that guy!! Oh wait…
I believe his name is Ed Rogers
He’ll be ML ready any day now.
He's the next Alex Rodriguez, you know
By which I mean…um…he’s a big Madonna fan maybe. And he has no business playing LF.
Yay, defense!
Your job is to not boot any ground balls. You field your position you’ll be golden. You start getting the Castros & we’ll boo your lightweight arse off the field. Practice those bunts!
From the Land of Pleasant Living...
Castro was fine at short
The rest of them couldn’t field.

Quote from Cesar at foxsports.com
I just want to help the team win; it will be fun.
Isn’t that cute. Newsflash, Cesar: It will probably not be fun, at least once August rolls around.
