Erik Bedard and His Priceless Interviews
Erik is finally starting to be exposed to more attention than what he was receiving in Baltimore, and, apparently, he hasn't changed a bit in his interviews. The media has yet to realize that he won't respond and will make things as difficult as possible because he doesn't want to open up to them and give them any weapons against him. I couldn't help but laugh, constantly, throughout this article. I hope you enjoy.

They'll figure him out soon enough. Bedard is exactly like Mussina. Very intelligent, very dry humor when he feels like using it, and about as quotable as Maid in Manhattan. He's never going to stop having these lazy ass articles written about him.

The amazing thing is what sports writers accept as "responsive." There would be no article written at all had Bedard responded with some of the standard drivel: "Well, my starts during the spring haven't been as good as I had hoped. I am going to really have to pound the strike zone, get ahead of hitters, and hopefully try to miss more bats. i can't be giving up this many homers." At least Bedard is honest in telling the media nothing instead of saying nothing while talking.
