Amber and the F-bomb!
YAY AMBER!
I never know exactly what to make of guys like this. I mean, his claim to fame when he's 80 might be that one time he said "fuckin'" on the TV. Kind of pointless, but who doesn't like bloopers, even when forced by the non-famous?

If I remember alleles from high school...
The better question is...
When it comes to sideline reporter eye-candy...

Rocky Cherry, O's pitcher, not John C. McGinley's love child.
Is it beef?
Like I said above, if she was a pro she'd roll with it - not act all discombobulated just because some joker slipped the word "fucking" in there for emphasis. He didn't even ask her a tough question or make it part of anything she needed to respond to. Listen, I know a lot of people around here bear some sort of affection for Amber. I'm not sure why - but whatever, people gotta find what joy they can out of watching the O's. But let's not lie to ourselves and make believe she's a good journalist.

The thing is though...
If she's just being put on screen because "she's hot" then let's dispense with the formalities and put someone genuinely smokin' hot on there. You can find them at any regional modeling agency.

Yeah, and I've said as much before. But she's still attractive though. Attractiveness isn't a terribly rare quality that's all.

She's fine as a sideline reporter. Her job doesn't take many brain cells to do. All she does is conduct short 5-minute interviews with players, fans, or personnel. Can she speak English? Check. Can she speak clearly? Check. Is she camera friendly? Check. Can she write noin-stupid questions to ask people? Check. Is she professional? Check. I mean she acted surprised by the F-bomb. If acting surprised under that scenario constitutes non-professional behavior, then I think that's being a bit too harsh. The professional thing to do in that situaiton is to move on which she did.

I get it.
You'll be the hero she's been dreaming of.
Y'all'll live together
Knowing forever
That you did it all for the glory of love.

I didn't think she acted "discombobulated" but maybe that's just me. She reacted very surprised and the shock stayed with her while she continued talking, but I didn't think she lost her composure. It certainly wasn't a perfect performance but hardly damning. She definitely did the right thing by moving on. And I don't know if I consider sideline reporters journalists.
