Tejada Fesses Up
No, not to steroids.

Saying he wanted to unburden himself, Miguel Tejada approached general manager Ed Wade and asked to correct misinformation he gave the Oakland A’s when he signed in 1993. The Astros’ new shortstop is actually 33, two years older than he’s listed in the club’s media guide and other baseball records.
I'm glad he didn't feel the need to unburden himself 6 months ago.

no wonder
he sucks now

It certainly makes his career path
a little more fitting.
A mind without purpose will walk in dark places.
These two trades
are just the Orioles’ gift to Seattle and Houston that keeps on giving, aren’t they?
I will never question Andy MacPhail.
He is clearly a mastermind.

He's looking smarter by the day
What ‘til Seattle releases Bedard’s MRI test results, and I’m guessing Andy will look like the president-elect of Mensa…

Glad he's gone
But I still think he’ll have a very good bounce back year at the plate.
Wolf, wolf, wolf.
Miggy
should be released from his contract and sued by MLB. He’s a fucking chump
yeah
Then they should do the same thing to the other dozens of players that have done this.

Hilarious
That’s better news than finding out it’s free hamburger day at Five Guys. And free hamburger days are the tits.

what's interesting here
Is that his DOB is correct on his driver’s license and green card.
So the Athletics, Orioles, and Astros - THREE MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR BUSINESSES - never bothered to, like, check.
Either that or they (probably at three separate times) found about it and just never publically released it
Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t it required by law for an employer to have a copy of an immigrant’s green card on file?
In re-reading the article
it struck me that Tejada has GIVEN PERMISSION to release the fact that he’s 33. I can’t imagine the clubs didn’t know, with the date correct on his immigration paperwork and license. But no one would be allowed to release it without his OK.

Wow.. the story is a lot weirder..
He was admitting to be 32.. which was a year older than was originally thought. He was then confronted about being 33, and then walked off set.
at least that’s what i gathered from the interview.
omg
i agree w/ the glen davis the comment and i am so happy!
he probably is trying to sabotage the astros lol!
seeing this Tejada interview
He sure is not coming off great with this one. Come to think of it, he rarely does. Remember when Derek Lowe made him cry? Tejada’s not terribly good with emotions or being quiet.
