Orioles -- 1 game over .500

I won’t consider the dream of .500 over quit yet. I’m not expecting too much this year, just wishing for a .500 season - like the past few years. Sure the Birds are 8 – 7, and NYY is coming to town, but you have to remember, they used 5 pitchers on Wednesday night. I fully expect them to use another 4-5 tonight. Then the come to Baltimore with 2 youngsters pitching (Hughs & Kennedy) on Friday & Saturday & and afternoon start for Pettite on Sunday. Will the Jankees have enough pitching? Let’s just hope the O’s bust out of their hitting slump.

I’m fully expecting them the win 2 of 3 this weekend.

GO ORIOLES - PLEASE THROW STRIKES; 1st pitch strikes would be nice

75 wins...

would be an achievement, if everyone stays healthy.

I'm guessing

it’s the same WISH as the last few seasons.

O's show heart win 10 inning win over the Chi-Sox

Extra innings win puts the O’s 2 games over .500 with NYY coming to town. Adam Jones told Amber he couldn’t wait for them to get there. I agree with Adam.

(changing channel) Boston/NYY are finish game up in 3 hours & 20 minutes—short game. NYY uses 4 pitchers a day after using 5.

If the O’s can do a few things this weekend, I see at least 2 wins:
1) BE PATIENTLY AGGRESSIVE at the plate – make the pitchers work and throw strikes
2) pitchers THROW STRIKES

—it sounds so easy

Let’s get it done boys.

PLEASE -- JUST PLEASE THROW STRIKES.

Re:
“Baltimore with 2 youngsters pitching (Hughs & Kennedy) on Friday & Saturday”

In case you haven’t been around long, our beloved O’s seem to make “young” pitchers look like Sandy F-in Koufax. So I’m going to take the under and say we win one this weekend, all the while hoping for a broomin’.
