PERLOZZO SPEAKS
"I'm not going to sit here and say I haven't thought about it, I have," Perlozzo said from the Safeco Field clubhouse this week. "There are a lot of great people around that city. I made a tremendous amount of friends. The fans have been great and I would hope the fans would appreciate the things that I did over 12 years in Baltimore."

Oh. My. God.
We're moving into "the surge is working" territory here.
You can't fix stupid. Stupid is forever.

I wish Perlazzo all the best
No hard feelings. It didn't work out, he wasn't the only problem, things are better now. He'll always be a Marylander.

Me too.
Sam didn't do a great job as Manager, but he seems like a good guy.
And I don't know that any manager could have been successful with that bunch.

yeah well
No one made him pull the ridiculous shit with bullpen management that he did. Sam's a nice dude. Let's not pretend he was anything less than a fucking horrible manager, and that would've been true if they were winning 90 games a year, too.
