Game time is 8:11 on MASN2. I'll probably be out since it's Friday and I can't actually watch the game anyway.

Buehrle has dominated the the Orioles in his career, putting up a 2.27 ERA and 1.08 WHIP. His season hasn't been as bad as it looks. He was hideous in his first outing (1.2 IP, 7 ER) but has gone seven innings in all three starts afterward. He had a bad second inning against Tampa Bay last time out (3 ER) and gave up five earned on the day. Dude can still pitch, though.

Burres' ERA is a lot of luck. A whole lot of luck. But I'll take a lucky good ERA over a bad one that makes all the sense in the world, believe me. Hopefully Bri Bri can give us a good six tonight.

THAT'S why, dave...

there are many bad lawyers, but few that actually value the study and practice of the law over the attendant pecuniary benefits!

So, like, whatever.

But, uhh…the real problem is that Huff could be starting at 1B and Millar could take a day off and Scott could DH. Millar isn’t hitting.

I’m looking forward to the latest release. Unfortunately, I’ll have to run it under virtualization, because I also need to run a bunch of software that requires Windows.

Actually, yes

I was never interested in LINUX until about a week ago. It always seemed nerdy to me, but I was sick of WIndows, and Ubuntu was free and promised to be easy.

I’m pretty impressed. I had some issues with my video card that required some pretty in-depth workarounds, but it’s running smooth as butter now.

In my opinion, Ubuntu is not quite there yet for the mainstream crowd, but it’s not far off. I would not be able to use it at work, but it has everything I need for my home computer. I haven’t booted into XP for days.

I have MLB.tv working, and that’s all I really need.

Rain delay. RAIN DELAY??? This is a Big Deal for me. I get up at 4:30 (OK, I went to bed early, really shagged), make myself a nice omelet, fire up the laptop to watch, ahem, Cy Burres do his thing - I mean, is this Loyalty or what?- and the Almighty decides No, you have to watch Tampa Bay hand the Sawx their lunch at sh*tass Tropicana.

No fair, Big Guy.

The rain delay

gave me the chance to re-watch HEAVY: The Story of Metal on VH1 Classic, and hear Jani Lane of Warrant utter the line I’ve been waiting 20 years to hear…

“The album’s Cherry Pie, the single’s Cherry Pie, I’m the Cherry Pie guy, my legacy’s Cherry Pie. I could shoot myself in the f—-ing head for writing that song.”
