Hell, yeah!
Bay Rays have a tradition of losing to re-establish. We’ve gotta help them out.
Finally getting my tail in a seat at OPACY today! Let’s see if preserving Burres’ regular rest makes any difference.

I'd say that any year
Anyone who’s ever coached anything knows days like yesterday happen. Just move on to the next game. When a pattern emerges, THEN you start kickin’ butt and takin’ names as a manager/coach.
One game in a 162 game season off the road trip they just had? I’d like to think it’s an aberration. Although, I don’t think we’ll be sendingall of our regulars out there today, either. I’m looking at YOU, Brian Roberts. Trembley’s gotta sit him at some point.

Exactly my thoughts
as my wife changed the channel to Idol, or whatever retarded reality show she was watching last night.

Good one to completely miss
Looks like McCrory got a rude welcome to the big leagues. I’m not sure what to expect from him. Last I recall, baseball prospectus has him on the fringes of the O’s top ten prospects. We’ll see more yesterdays while these guys try to learn. Sarfate continues to be not so impressive. I don’t know where he is on the learning curve and whether this is about as much as we can expect.

maybe this is a bit harsh...
but i’m very much getting parrish 2: electric boogaloo vibes from sarfate. we’ll see. maybe he needs a talking to or five from kranwich.
can’t we pull something positive from the matt albers start, though? did anyone expect him to be such a solid contributor a month in? i did not.
ronnie's a dillweed.

He pitched like Olson did LAST year
He was nibbling, not going after them. Trembley wants his pitchers to be AGGRESSIVE – make an aggressive mistake, he’s forgiving. Nibble and try and be perfect, and he’s gonna chew you out.
I like it. I just wish his bullpen management was a little better. OK, a lot better.

forgot to mention Johnson
He continues to get it done. I wonder if the bullpen will be his and Sherrill dealt in July. More likely he’ll eventually get a start because the O’s need bodies in the rotation. That is if Trembley can resist throwing him into games out of the bullpen.

The cubs beat the Brewers 19-5. It happens.
