Let's take two.

And send those Massholes home crying in their Sam Adams.

BTW, there’s a thread up on SOSH wherein a bunch of tough guy New Englanders lament the use of profanity by Orioles fans at OPCY. Apparently we weren’t lubed up in the appropriate position last night as a fan base & they don’t know what to make of it other than to lump us (suddenly) in with Philadelphia fans.

Gee, why do you suppose they call it “Mobtown”, beaneaters? Because it’s Disney on a stick?

Grow a pair.

Hopefully, the crowd for tonight’s game will be a bit more civilized.

I’ll also chip in by saying the O’s fans were atypically fired up and, in some cases, inappropriate last night. There was a couple right behind us that was just being belligerently drunk and annoying, screaming “siddown, fatass!!!” at Papi everytime he made an out. When Manny grounded into the double play they screamed right into my ear and I literally had to turn around and tell them to tone it down, as it’s only May. It seemed like this was happening in every section based on what other Sox fans were telling me.

I think it’s safe to say that all teams have “those” fans. The only thing I hold against this jackass is that he is apparently not aware of the torment that we as O’s fans have been going through for years at the hands of more jackasses in our own ballpark.

I hate to see them in Camden Yards

But hopefully all the dirtbags will have taken a couple days off work, and driven for a dozen hours to see their team get swept by the pathetic Orioles.

Fuck that guy

How dare O’s fans not kiss the ground that Ortiz walks on! How dare they get excited about a major game-changing double-play! Fuck you, dude. Hope you enjoyed seeing your team get swept. I know I did.

Those whiny bitches can take their pink hats

their t-shirts, their eye black, their stupid fucking accents, their racist franchise history, and every other damn thing they bring to Camden Yards, and stick it right up their asses. No sympathy. They’ve been acting like entitled dickfaces for the last several years. Now they can just eat it.

more 'angry' than bitter.

Be interesting to see what Boston does in their OF

JD Drew should definitely be out; and Crisp was pulled yesterday after his tummy started to hurt. Moss had an apendectomy.

Obviously Jacoby and Manny will be out there, but who’s going to play RF?

Casey at first, is likely.

Looks like Van Every

Whoever the hell that is. I’m guessing he got called up today.

He’s a 28 year old with an 815 OPS in AAA.

From Boston.com
The Red Sox placed pitcher Clay Buchholz on the 15-day disabled list with a broken fingernail on his right middle finger.

The Red Sox called up outfielder Jonathan Van Every from Pawtucket to replace Buchholz on the roster. Van Every was needed because of the wrist injury suffered by right fielder J.D. Drew in Tuesday night’s loss to the Orioles.

Bucholz goes on the DL for a hang nail and Crisp is missing time because his stomach hurts? What a bunch of bitches they have up there.

Broken nails hurt

A lot.

Plus, a lot of pitchers use the tip of their nails for off-speed stuff, and breaking one would make it very difficult to pitch.

unless you are using to throw your knuckler man up and pitch. Of course, if your broken nail is a result of a steamroller running over your finger I guess you get a pass.

Sorry for the lineup formatting

Still getting used to the new editor, which sucks tremendously, by the way. Or maybe I’m just jealous because I’m not as good as it as SC.

Probably the latter, but it does suck.

I didn’t have time to do the links to each player.

And my meeting got rescheduled. Oh, goody.

With the day I had, I really need the O’s to beat the Sox, oh, I don’t know, maybe 30-3.

Wow, it sounds like fan relations got a little testy at OPACY last night.

Maybe we should have a settling-down kind of promo the next time the Sawx come to town—something like Bobby Knight Behavior Modification Night. You know, a pre-game show with angry fat guys punching people, throwing chairs, baiting officials—but only for their own good, of course. It might make everybody reflect a little more on their behavior.

On the other hand, 1 Dollar Beer Night could make ‘em really reflective.

Anyway, as for tonight (OK, today for you): Let’s get to Lester early, fellas. Daniel, continue the magic.

Go O’s!

p.s. Hey, did Westie finally got out of detention study hall last night? We’ve been short of the Young Punk /Juvenile Delinquent element around here lately.

Casey

I think it’s more to keep Youkilis out of RF. Casey has actually played pretty well this year. Or maybe his niceness and stupid haircut make me think he has.

You think 500 is still automatic in?

I’m not sure I do. Even before the steroids, they were debating whether Palmiero would make it (which was abusrd); and he also had 3K hits and 1500 RBI.
