Jon Lester
Jon Lester of the Boston Red Sox just completed the 18th no-hitter in franchise history. I watched most of the game as the O's were not on and Kansas City games always prove to be exciting; Lester was hitting every spot and the Royals could not get a hit if their lives depended on it even when balls were hung or put right down broadway. Go Sox!
^^Just a few added game notes.

Go Sox?
There’s nothing wrong with rooting for the kid, but it’s never OK to root for that team.

Sarcasm
Is hard to detect over the internet, I guess. Did you really think I was rooting for the Red Sox…
My best game plan is to sit on the bench and call out specific instructions like 'C'mon Boog,' 'Get ahold of one, Frank,' or 'Let's go, Brooks.' -Earl Weaver

Yeah c'mon man,
settle down with the sarcasm. Makes us look like idiots.
Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words—"mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

I watched the last inning
I’m a sucker for that kind of stuff. Good for the kid.

John Lester is a great story.
I still hate the team too much to appreciate this on any level.
These Boston jerks are going to see this as divine proof of their manifest destiny.
ugh.

i wanted him to give up a hit sooo bad
maybe i’m a poor sport, but fuck em. i dont want to see anyone in that jersey do well and/or happy. now we get to hear bosucks fans talk about how the red sox are the best team of all time.

Fine
with it. Good for him. But now I hope he goes out and gives up 10 in 2 the next 48 starts.

Fixed it
Nice to see you while you were away. But when the O’s won both games against your beloved PHN, we didn’t really expect you to show your face around here for a while.
Yeah, I’ll talk crap about winning a 2-game series. Suck it.

have to side with ama on this
nothing wrong with seeing what other teams are saying about your team’s no-hitter. and it’s true that all he posted was a correction on the name. until someone talked trash at him and then he talked some back.

I have to agree
When AMA actually does something annoying, I’ll be all for it. But this seems a little ridiculous.

But I pretty much take any opportunity I can to mess with him.

what’s up with all this diplomacy? yes, I realize baseball is just a game and we’re all human beings and we’re all the same.. and whatever else Bono rambled about in that song…
BUT THESE GUYS ARE THE ENEMIES.
