CCers at the Yankee game tonight
Just to point out that the gamethread will be a little lighter than usual tonight, as yurizanow, Jonnypops and brooklynlovesorioles will be representing Camden Chat in the festering eyesore known as Yankee Stadium. They will be joined by b.l.o.'s co-worker, daveh873's gf and her friend, and my upstairs neighbors, Bill and Dara (Bill's an O's fan, but Dara likes the Yankees....ugh. Go easy on her guys).
I got these tickets back in February with the idea of getting to a game early this year. Then I had to work (as did daveh). But the lucky ones who are going will be treated to the likes of my man Danny Cabrera (who will hopefully continue his newfound success) matching up against ex-Oriole stud Mike Mussina. The Yanks were just swept by the Mets over the weekened, and everyone is pointing fingers around here, but Alex Rodriguez is returning to the lineup tonight, so that should help.
I'm thinking this is going to be an awesome game.
'Bye boys! Have fun storming the castle!

Looks pretty dreary out there
I got a last-minute ticket, but I’m not sure I want to trek all the way out there just to see the game postponed.

If only this series were next week
when I’d be in the city. Let’s sweep the most storied franchise in sports history.

It's Moose Hunting Season
Seriously, I will be PISSED if this gets rained out. I want the Birds to demolish the Moose tonight. He’s been too good of late, so he’s due for a loss. That’s my take on this game.
I’m so looking forward to having other O’s fans there. Every other time I’ve gone I’ve been the only one and it hasn’t been pretty.
Let’s Go O’s!

Ugh.
Not looking great.
All depends on how fast the system moves. If the worst of it passes during the day, they may get it in; it’s supposed to taper off later….

I'm not going to be able
to make this one. So I’m actually hoping it gets rained out so I can use the ticket for the rescheduled game.

I hate to say this
But I don’t think I’m going. The weather is really lousy and I don’t think I have it in my to schlep up to the Bronx for a game that may not be played or might start and finish later than I’d like.

still going
leaving in ten minutes for the game. i think they’ll get it in. if the birds can play in this weather, I can sit on my ass and cheer for ‘em in it.

you sure about that?
Forecast has it raining until 10PM. I know Brooklyn loves Orioles and all, but how does Brooklyn feel about mold and pneumonia?

Radar looks like it's clearing doesn't it?
Maybe I’m biased, I just want to get in the Yankee games while they are down.

1st inning must have been a lot of fun,
Top of the 2nd too.
Hope it sticks.

three
I was there, Yuri ended up coming and I brought along my O’s fan co-worker. It was cold and dreary but it was a sweet win. Chasing Mussina in the first inning might be my greatest Yankee Stadium moment of all time. I’m sure Yuri will post about the highlights.
