Even DD is getting sick of Small Ball MelMo

From today's Roch Around the Clock :

Judging by the comments made by Orioles manager Dave Trembley after yesterday’s game, he wasn’t enamored with Melvin Mora’s decision to square up on the second pitch he saw as a pinch-hitter. He wasn’t sent to the plate to bunt, either for a hit or to advance the runners with no outs. Mora took a second strike, then flied to center field.

Trembley wanted runs in that inning, and figured Mora could provide them with one swing.

So it seems even Diamond Dave isn't enamored with MelMo's constant bunting. And it shows DD isn't a slave to small-ball mentality. He wanted a hit (or at least a decent sac fly) and MelMo's trying his bunting crap again.

And I imagine, sometime later today, MelMo will get an earful about it.
