Hank Steinbrenner is still a jerk

He's moved on from insulting his own general manager to the entire National League. I know a lot of NLers are passionate about the DH rule, I grew up with it, so I like it just fine, but this was just ridiculous. I really hope we finish ahead of the MFY this season.

And stay in the running from there on. Honestly, I’ll be content with a high draft choice this year. I wouldn’t mind a top of the draft stud in the fold.

Yeah he's a jerk

But despite his oh so eloquent way to stating things, he might have a point. I don’t think the solution is getting rid of the DH, though. I think the solution is getting rid of interleague play.

I would get rid of interleague play

and keep the pitcher batting in the NL. That would mean that the NL would still be far inferior to the AL and thats the way it has always been.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words—"mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

Regardless...

...labeling the NL immature makes no sense at all. It’s just name-calling, which is, y’know, immature. “They need to grow up”. Yes, because that’s why they don’t have the DH. They’re all a bunch of babies.

As for the actual issue H-Stein is stomping the yolk out of, all NL pitchers run this risk all the time. So you hurt your Wang. Be a man & rub some dirt on it.
