Seriously we'd be better off having pitchers hit for themselves and DH for him.
He has no prayer of doing anything at the plate.

was anything more predictable this season...
than that at bat by Bynum? Not to be negative or anything, but I already knew that, with two runners in scoring postion, he’d make a weak out to end the inning.
Really sad to have automatic outs in the lineup.
by Lothar on Jun 17, 2008 7:54 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Of course not, because he's a fucking attrocious hitter.
I’ve never seen a major leaguer load up, get his hands back nicely, time the pitch well, and then make such pathetic contact so consistently. It’s embarrassing for the organization.

And no way he doesn't suck as bad as Bynum at hitting.
I still don’t get why we don’t just play Cintron – he’s not a bad fielder and twice as good of a hitter.

I usually end up with a few extras during giveaways. I snagged 2632 a Millar shirt last year that way. So if anything else comes up you want, just speak up, can’t hurt. Although not many giveaways are as cool as tonight’s.

O's Win!
Cue Guts with the magical clarinet from the upper deck!

MelMo stickin' it (slightly) to Miggi
“When I see Miguel Tejada go talk to him, I know, “Slder’s coming,” so I look for the slider. “
Damn, that’s pretty smart, MelMo!

About 20 times this year we've come back while we're losing..
this time we did it in the 8th inning. You have to keep reminding yourself that last year we were basically guaranteed to lose the game at this point.
Considering what our team is, what they were expected to do, the division they play in, and what they are currently doing – it’s almost a Disney movie.
Hope we keep this up.

Gotta keep winning the games we can win
20 come-from-behind wins is great, but the O’s are still just 1 game over .500. Just goes to show how much we still have to do to this lineup to be competitive. But I truly think, for the first time in 10 years, we have a FO that can actually do it.

Winning on Sundays would be a big help.
Maybe everybody needs to go to chapel or something, I dunno.

Maybe Jobu could help...

Then again, as Cerrano said…
“I stuck up for you Jobu. You no help me now…I say fuck you Jobu. I do it myself.”

Jobu was fine
Until Hank Steinbrenner decided he should be starting…
"Whether your name is Gehrig or Ripken, DiMaggio or Robinson, or that of some youngster who picks up his bat or puts on his glove, you are challenged by the game of baseball to do your very best day in and day out. That's all I've ever tried to do."

Sweet jesus, I do love my team.
"The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again."
