PrintI just heard on XM Radio that the Yankees claimed Sidney Ponson. Can't say that I really blame them. The dude is a total head case, but the Yankees are pretty desperate for pitching right now. I mean, if some other guy without the history with the O's was in the same situation, I might not be against the O's giving him a flier.
Here's to hoping he gets drunk and punches out Joe Girardi! That'd be a hoot.

but bears repeating. My roommate is from NJ, and is a Yanks fan. Before I could break the news about his new pitcher, he read it on the ESPN news crawl and let out this choked, wheezing, panicked noise. It was perfect.
