Old Sid Might Start Against the Mets
The New York Post is reporting that our old pal Sidney Ponson might make his first start for the MFY in this weekend's series against the Mets. If he does it will be on Friday when the Yanks and Mets are slated to play a day night doubleheader. He pitched for the MFY Triple-A team (Scranton) on Saturday and threw 78 pitches over four innings of work. I really hope that Sid is still on the MFY when I go to New York to see the MFY and O's at the end of July. If so He can expect some major heckling .

try that again -- while I wouldn't
mind heckling Sidney during that series (my plans to get there are firming up), I would prefer that he gets rocked in the meantime and is shamed out of baseball long before the end of July. Or that he assaults a couple members of the NY media, mistaking them for judges.

now I think about it
I think that last line may be stolen from somebody else on some other thread. If so, forgive me, it’s not intentional theft, I’m just a moron.
