Time Changes Announced for Orioles-Red Sox Series
Orioles games against the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park tomorrow and Thursday, originally scheduled to start at 7:05 p.m., will now start at 6:05., the Orioles announced today. Wednesday's game will remain at 7:05.
The scheduled start times have been changed at the request of the Red Sox to avoid an overlap with games 3 and 4 of the NBA Finals between the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers. The NBA Finals games begin at 9 p.m.

At least the Wednesday game
isn’t changing. I’ll be there and I plan to be as obnoxious as possible. Within reason, of course.

I'll be there, too. But without being obnoxious.

Red Sox, Patriots, now Celtics
Good time to be a Boston sports fan I guess. Did the Bruins go to the Stanley Cup Finals?

nope
they’re still mediocre and uninteresting. Until someone does a 6-minute SC piece on their historic resurgence, just assume that’s the status quo.

Gasp
Don’t you people watch hockey? The Bruins are junk. Detroit/Pittsburgh this year, with the Pens doing a massive belly flop into the runner-up pool.

dude, i don't watch basketball or football.
It’s amazing that I even knew that the Celtics and Patriots made it the championship game. Normally, I wouldn’t even know that but I live in southern cali so Lakers crap is everywhere (bullets baby!). And I even knew about the Pat’s winning streak.

Pretty nice of the Orioles.

Isn't it the home team's call?
Do the O’s even get a say in it? It’s easy to be nice when you don’t have any recourse.

That’s why the technology wizards gave us DVRs and Tivo.

Well
I watch the first half and get up at 5 (I get up at 5:30 for work) to watch the 2nd half FFing through all the BS, but it would be nice to have, like, a Sunday afternoon game since David Stern admitted they started four days after the Conference Finals to get Sunday games. But evidently the networks say they get more people starting a game at nine, which frankly I find a little hard to believe but whatever. What bothered me was Stern saying eastern time zone kids can watch the game after school, which is beyond retarded. Why can’t pacific time zone people start the Tivo before they get home? Makes a lot more sense. I’d have appreciated it if he just admitted they bend over for the networks, which I can at least respect and understand.
