Stay home
You sound like a nice enough person, but, really, there are too many Red Sox fans at our park already, and their welcome has been very much worn out.

Sorry, tried to be diplomatic
But its kind of like somebody asking directions to my house so they can come over and poop on my kitchen floor. I hate to have to be a dick about it – and its not personal – but this Fenway South crap needs to be stopped.

"needs to be stopped"
How about “not facilitated”. That’s the only thing you can do.
Your post was in that spirit and had me laughing.

"not facilitated"
Unfortunatly, Peter Angelos didn’t get the memo on that….

Could it be?
Could it be an expatriate O’s fan who’s coming out from Schenectady to watch the game?

If you get a hotel near the airport
You can take the light rail to the game, it drops you right off in front of Camden Yards. It’s quite convenient. Plus then you don’t have to fight traffic after the game. Most of the hotels by the airport are decent enough. If you get one near there, you can take the hotel shuttle to the airport light rail stop.
Even if you can find a hotel in Baltimore when the Red Sox are in town, the prices are totally jacked up. Not as much out near the airport.

Just a reminder...
The address for the stadium is the corner of Edmonson Ave. & N Ashburton St.
You’ve got to ask the cabbie for this address, otherwise they won’t take you to the right stadium.
“Camden Yards” is just too vague. Make sure to wear plenty of red.

I'm going to laugh...
and assume that’s some sort of gang territory in which their rival gang wears red.

This sounds pretty... um... urban...

Why did you buy these old gallery cars from Chicago?
MARC is faced with record ridership and needed to acquire more equipment. There were no funds available for new cars that can cost up to $2million apiece. The gallery cars were available for very little because Chicago’s system was purchasing 300 new gallery cars. While they are not new, these 30 year-old cars are virtual “spring chickens” compared to the 50 year old MARC I cars that they will replace. In addition they provide over 150 seats per car versus 85 in the old single level cars. This will not all be a net gain in seating because later in 2004 we will begin taking our oldest MARC II cars (the 3 and 2 seaters) out of service for a much needed overhaul. We know that there are features of the gallery cars that are foreign to our riders. However these cars carry over 100,000 riders each day in Chicago and are a proven design. Because of their door arrangement they can only be used at low-level platforms, which restricts them to the Brunswick Line.

A nice lunch suggestion...
...in the area is the Frederick Avenue Packaged Goods Store, right across from the Mount Olivet Cemetery at Frederick & Parksley Avenues. It’s a short walk from the stadium through one of Baltimore’s most charming neighborhoods that’s been featured multiple times on HBO. If you have any trouble finding it, it’s the place where the sign above the door reads “Come on in and take a seat. Better here than across the street.”

I’m not sure how far the B&O Railroad jaunt goes out into West Baltimore, but maybe they could make a day of it. Does it go out toward the end of Carroll Park past Monroe St? Maybe they could hop of at the turn around point and hike up to Mt. Olivet.

Just because I was curious
According to gmaps-pedeometer, I grew up exactly 1.06 miles from that package store. It may as well been a world away when I was a kid, because we never ventured in that direction. Loudon Park Cemetery was a natural boundary.

Agreed. I can’t be an accessory to having more Red Sox fans in our stadium.
Enough is freakin’ enough.
But, you know what will cure that.
WINNING more games.
