Gameday Thread: Tigers @ Orioles
Detroit Tigers at Baltimore Orioles, Jul 19, 2008 7:05 PM EDT
Let's all hope Good Danny shows up. Come on Danny, zknower has faith in you! Why Melvin Mora is batting third is beyond me. Probably his playoff experience combined with the off the top of the foul pole HR made it impossible to leave him in the 7 hole.
I'm heading out to the game in just a few minutes so any mods who want to gussy up this game thread have at it.
Let's Go O's!

6-0 to go talk to Danny, Ramon. It’s not like Danny’s a little fragile or anything.

WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?
I go to Walmart to get some milk and paint supplies. I walk in at just before 1st pitch. I come out at 7:23, and my radio says
DET 6 BAL 0
What the hell did Danny do? Hit the first 2 and allow a HR, then walk the next 2 an another HR?

How to throw strikes.

The inning after a Kevin Millar infield hit.
So, if anyone has any sins to repent, it may be time to get on that, cause I think the world is ending soon.

Tremblay should yank Danny
when he’s one strike shy of completing 5 innings. So he doesn’t stand any chance of getting the win in this game.
He does not deserve this win.
But god DAMN, go Melmo. What has happened to Melmo in since the All Star game? Is he on steroids. He has never hit this well, even when he was good, like, four years ago.

Right - so 11-9 as a final score is very much still possible. He didn't say anything about us having 11...

But you did...
OK, I’m lost again.

Re-read what I said. He said 11-9 was a likely final score and that we should just root for us to have 11.
He didn’t say we WOULD have 11.

Yeah, the idea was to root for us to get the 11. Damn.

Ravens-Lions score?
Oh wait, I’m pretty sure 10-9 would be it.

I hit the big 4-0 myself next week and will celebrate…
