Friday 07/25: O's vs. Angels @ Camden Yards
I'll be moving to LA soon and I decided to have some fun with it, so my girlfriend and I will be driving across the country. We'll be stopping in Baltimore this Friday for the Orioles/Angels game. Anyone else going? I am bummed I can't go to the Wednesday night game. It would be nice to see the '83 players.
Additionally, I am arriving in LA in time for the O's/Angels series out there, so like any true fan, I'll be checking out at least one of those games. I'd love to meet with any LA O's fan. I've also never been to that stadium, and although it looks kind of corny on team, it's baseball, so it will be plenty of fun.
Love,
Dany

I live 1.5 miles from Angels Stadium. But I’ve been offered a job in Philadelphia so I may be leaving southern CA before the Angels series. I should have this job issue wrapped up by Friday. If I stay in Cali, I’m definitely buying tickets for the Angels series. Let me know if you’re interested. I think Zknower mentioned interest in attending O’s/Angels series as well. I will attend all three games. If I leave for Philly, I’ll definitely take any tips for driving across the country. I am so not looking forward to that drive.

Philly is an awesome city
I grew up there—let me know if you get the job there. I have a ton of recs.
I am not sure which games I’ll go to, at least one, maybe all 3. I think I get to LA a day or two before the series.
I’ve got some good tips for cross country driving—this will be my second time doing it. It can be a lot of fun, but also really fucking boring.

Just spoke to my boss and I’m about 90% sure that I will turn down the Philly job. So do you have seat preferences? I prefer field level. It’s a little more price wise, but I like being near the action. Email me at leess75 at gmail.com and we can work out the details. I think I know a couple of people who might be interested, plus Z might be down as well.

Last night was my first game, and wouldn’t you know it, I got Olson. I’m going tonight - Guthrie! - but it’s supposed to rain.
And the BJs have Burnett going, so that doesn’t bode well. I’ll take it though, because I thought it was Halladay tonight.

O's handled Burnett ok last time
even though they lost the game. If they can get to him again I’m sure Guts will pull out a win.

I hope it doesn't rain tomorrow
I just ponied up for expensive tickets behind the O’s dugout.

On the bright side
Maybe tomorrow is the day that DD finally snaps, rushes the mound, and chokes him with his bare hands.
one can only hope...
i’ll be out by the scoreboard.
