Quick '83 O's video from MASN
Clips, interviews with Eddie and the gang, and the incomparable Jim Hunter on the intro.
Has there ever been a cooler Oriole than Eddie Murray? I mean, just straight up cool. Like a bad, suave dude. You know what I'm sayin'. COOL.
Has "cool" ever met its match like it might in an sit-down, 60 Minutes-style interview between Eddie and Jim Hunter?

I’ve never met Cal or Brooks Robinson, but they seem cool.
I’ve met Palmer, and he was really nice.
But Eddie’s the king. All I really remember from 82-87 is everyone chanting “EDDIE EDDIE EDDIE (etc.)” when he came to the plate.

Ed-die, Ed-die
Thanks for posting the link; that’s a great video. Now I have a better idea of what The Sun columnists were talking about in their description of the event. I just wish they would’ve included clips of Eddie busting guys chops as the reminiscing ran long.
Eddie and Cal were Baltimore baseball during the ‘80s. And Eddie was indeed the king. I’m glad they brought him back to hit No. 500 with the Birds. The fact that Eddie homered in his last at-bat as an Oriole, in the ALCS, is often overlooked because the Birds lost the game. Nevertheless, it was a fitting way to end his O’s career.

Eddie?
Yeah, I’m kinda into Eddie.
