Beautiful.
Man, that trade could not have gone any better for the O’s.

Beautiful
That was the most awesome thing I’ve ever seen live at Yankee Stadium.
Bases juiced, Adam Jones works a full count.
I turn to my wife, flaunting the jinxiness of it all, and say “I don’t think Adam Jones has ever hit a grand slam in his career.”
Boom.
Standing ovation from me and the other O’s fan in my section.
oooh man you were there?
awesome.. awesome like ADAM JONES
I just realized
From the stats in the game thread…Jeremy Guthrie eats innings like crazy. He’s sixth in MLB in IP. Wow. What a pickup (once again, I realize).
Cole Hamels also munches innings, which is weird, given his history as an injury-prone guy.
Kick Ass
at bat! Had to DVR game and watched that HR 5 times. I like being excited about the future. It’s such an unusual feeling.

From the Upper Deck
I was at the game, rooting for my Birds. This is my first post, is there somewhere to post some of the lovely pictures I took last evening during our rout of the Evil Empire?

Welcome!
I’d love to see your pictures. If you create a fanpost you should be able to post them in there.
"There is a value to breaking the string of losing seasons as an organization or as a franchise. But breaking that streak can’t come at the expense of doing what you need to do to get your franchise to the point where it can reach the postseason." ~Andy MacPhail
Sounds Great
I would probably post them in a FanShot if i were you.

If you're not sure how...
just e-mail one of the mods at the bottom of the page. We’ll be happy to provide instruction.
"I wasn't here for the losing years. But it feels a little like the days with Earl in charge and John Lowenstein smashing birthday cakes in the middle of the clubhouse with a bat." - John "T-Bone" Shelby
Highlight of My Whole Trip
I lost my mind when he hit that thing. The ball landed 4 sections over from where I was sitting. It was so funny because my friend, who knows very little about baseball, was like I bet he hits a grand slam right here and 5 seconds later the ball was heading towards the seats. I absolutely hit the roof.
