Scenes from a massacre

Wayward O must say there were MANY Os fans represented at l'estad d'Janki last night to witness massive drubbing. Amazing displays of skill on D and O from B-Rob, Jones, Millar and everybody else. And Guts was magnificent. Not to mention a facade-smash from Aubrey. There were definitely signs of things to come!! Enjoy!!

Nice trip through the game for us.

Kevbo: [to George Sherrill] George, you look a lot like Vin Diesel...

Flatbill: Let's get somethin' straight... Vin Diesel looks like me.

Guys are lucky...

thats all I can say, anyone who got to see last night’s game in person (I guess not the Yank fans though) had God looking out for him.

That game was teh awesome

Now I’ve seen Jankee Estadium, and it was good.

Guthrie was absolutely dealing, didn’t give up anything until the 4th and only left after giving up a solo shot by Nady. He got tons of run support, AJ was a double short of the cycle, Huff hit the sign hanging from the upper deck, Razor got his 1,000th hit (which was completely ignored), the O’s were working pitch counts like mad and just shelled Moose and his relief.

And yes, some awesome defensive plays by the O’s. Except for Castro, who really sucks. Makes me think about trying out for SS. Or maybe they should grab Adam Everett.

I would have liked to have been able to bring my bag in so I didn’t have to carry my camera like a tourist. Also, they closed Monument Park right before we got there (thanks to the delay in checking my bag) so I’ll never get to see it, but whatever. But we managed to find a crumbling wall so I grabbed some of the plaster as a keepsake.

Curt never met a buttered roll he didn't like.

Monument Park

will be moved to the new stadium. It won’t be the historic setting, but you should still be able to see it.

Artist rendition:
