Marlins want catcher/reliever. Hmm...
razor is on their radar screen, as is flatbrim. they'd like to do it in 1 trade if possible (how convienient for us!). Sean West (pitcher) is the only prospect off limits in their organization.
now, i dunno the marlins system that well, but SOMEONE has to be getting blocked by hanley rameriez, right? please?
at the very least, it'd be lovely to get something for ramon. hit another one tonight , razor!

They can have them both for Maybin
And if they want the O’s to pick up salary, they need to throw in a grade B pitching prospect or two.

i'm guessing you want to move maybin to left?

Sure
That would be one hell of a defensive outfield.
Mostly though, I’m all for acquiring the best talent available, regardless of position. The O’s aren’t exactly in danger of running out of long-term holes to plug.

They need catcher & reliever, and somone must be getting blocked by Ramirez
Ok, fine. You win, Marlins. We’ll take Ramirez off your hands.

Robert Andino
is a decent SS prospect with a really good glove who has developed some pop in his bat. Right now, he’s wasted as a utility guy behind Ramirez. If the O’s do a deal with the Marlins, I wonder if they could get Andino in addition to someone else who might be able to hit…seeing as Florida doesn’t seem to think moving Ramirez is necessary, it would stand to reason if they didn’t think of Andino as a potential starter.

He’s not hitting well at the majors this year, but he’d be more worthwhile to try out than Juan Castro.

Chris Coghlan’s a pretty solid second baseman in Double-A. There’s another option.
Robert Andino would sure be fun. If things don’t work out great for him as a regular, heck, he’d be a better utility man then Fahey. Is it odd that I doubted myself right there? Fahey’s hit pretty well and done well with the glove. Really odd.

Maybe
How about Logan Morrison, who is destroying the FSL. Can never have too many power hitting corner infielders..
