I just felt...very...philosophical.

I seriously cannot put up with her voice
I’ll check in periodically via game day until I get off of work.
Wolf, wolf, wolf.
And her voice is the least of her problems
Her bigger problem is she is all emotion and has a tendency to be complete wrong. I mean, completely 180 degrees wrong.

Holy Crap
I’m still surprised that Huff doesn’t suck.
Maybe I need to wise up.
I can't believe Huff isn't the hot prospect for July 31st.
He’s certainly made Balmer forget about Bubba the Love Sponge.

Do any of you guys read the post on MLBTradeRumors?
Bc there was a guy that was calling for McPhail to be fired on there today, thought that was pretty absurd.
probably a mariners fan

"I’m sure glad he didn’t try to bunt." - DD on Melmo's game winning double, 6/17
Here we go, thought it was worth sharing it was so off base.
If any other O’s fans want to join me, I think I’m going to head down to OPACY right now, find McPhail, and BEAT THE LIVING SNOT OUT OF HIM!!! Idiot! If this is true, I swear to God, I’m done with this guy. I don’t care about the Bedard deal; it’s a ‘what have you done for me lately’ world
if what is true
what was he reffering to?

angelos is very anti trading within the division
if anyone nixed it, im sure it was him
"I’m sure glad he didn’t try to bunt." - DD on Melmo's game winning double, 6/17
That trade wasn't actually on the table, though
Brignac is untouchable, according to a TB article
Yeah this is just a rumor article
And this guy want to run McPhail out of town for not doing it, when theres not real evidence that it was even an offer.
Only criticism is if we don't make further deals
There is no way we should finish the season with Sherrill, Roberts, Huff, Heranandez, etc.
But when you look at where we came from; come the fuck on.

Those guys will all have value later
in the offseason and next trade deadline. I’d like to see changes happen, too, but there’s no rush.
Sherrill is not likely to be worth more
Bullpen help always sells at a premium during the season. Same with Huff, people will overpay for a hot bat to make a final push.

Sherill is under control until 2011
There will be plenty more in-season’s to trade him.
And Huff apparently has zero interest because he’s a DH.
Sherrill maybe under control
But the Orioles could probabl,y get far more than his value if they trade him now. The guy has done a good job filling in the closer role; but he’s probably best suited as a setup man/lefty specialist. I think you can get more than his value if you trade him now.

It’s just that guys who have a career year at 31, usually don’t repeat that year at 32. In other words, this is likely not the real Huff, or at least the Huff you should expect to see in the future. Most likely he’ll regress towards his averages.

Yes, you pick your spots...with a 6-1 lead is a good spot.
Not that I think DCab threw at ARod.

Not with a man on and none out.
That 6-1 lead can become a 6-4 lead much too quickly when you do that.
Also, I think if Danny decides to throw at someone it’s going to be in their ear, just ask the midget from Boston.

As an amateur phsyciatrist...I think Cabs just let one fly and if it happens to bean a guy...
naaah…Cabs would’ve gone for the noggin..it was a pussy call
So Huff's dinger against Mo was the difference
In a game Rivera had no business entering.
I hope the New York media gives Joltin’ Joe G. some shit over that.
You’re no Joe Torre, Girardi.
First series win since the Cubs.
Good to have it come against the pinstripe-wearing bastards.

TAKE THAT, NU YAWK!
If you can strike out there, you can fan anywhere.
So shove it up, Nu Yawk, Nu Yawk!

ok so that game?
It seriously almost gave me an anxiety attack. I’m not even kidding. I am still feeling so many things about that game that I can’t get to sleep.

fyi
per the post game show, the ump who tossed Cabrera was a minor league ump filling in. Guess he won’t be getting the full time call any time soon.

Thanks, Stace, that's actually encouraging to hear.
I mean, not only was the toss just a really ignorant-of-the-obvious kind of call, but the guy’s strike zone had a serious wandering problem. The fact that there weren’t more disagreements on balls and strikes only makes sense now: Both teams knew the guy was a fill-in and either cut him slack or just gave up.
The short version: Bad ump, back to AAA!

Are you kidding?
He’s just bought himself a promotion. Remember which team it benefitted.

Girardi on Cabrera's pitch
"I don’t know. You never know," Yankees manager Joe Girardi said. "Daniel Cabrera is wild, but I don’t like it. He was down in the zone all night tonight and you just don’t like it. It’s happened a few times with this guy, Daniel Cabrera. We know at times he has some control issues but it’s just awful dangerous when you’re up there."
What a douchebag. I’m glad he’s the Yankees manager. He’s so easy to dislike. I thought Torre was a great manager.
Stop the presses! This just in: ESPN game recap is...YerkeeCentric!
I was shocked—shocked! — to see a 2-min. squib on SportsCenter about how the Yerks LOST this game, despite the heroics of A-Rod, The Cap’n, and Giambi- whose “line drive to left” (I sh*t you not!!) almost won it in the 9th over the Washington Generals. Sorry, I mean the Baltimore Orioles, of course. Although it was hard to tell. Exactly one Oriole batter was featured (Huff), and the tear he is currently on went utterly unnoticed. Oh, and Daniel Cabrera actually won the game and racked up a QS, too—although he was apparently present at the festivities solely to throw at someone for no apparent reason.
Luckily, this is America, so there are ways to address this kind of First Ammendment injustice: I am writing the Pretend Commissioner immediately, and expect him to demand an apology from the network before lunch.
For those of you who believe that, there are some remarkable opportunities in Florida real estate and time-share condominiums that I’d like to discuss with you at your earliest convenience. And replica watches are the wave of the future.
