It's not 100% official yet, as Griffey could veto the trade, but his wish to play for a contender may be coming true.
Ken Rosenthal (I know, I know) is reporting that a deal is in place to send 600-year old Griffey to the White Sox.
I'm working on a trade talkin' post right now, and I'll expand my thoughts, but I'll say for the moment that I honestly don't "get" this trade.
