Around SBN: Will Rhymes 'Fine' After Being Hit By Pitch And Fainting

Orioles @Angels of Disneyland of Laaaidback, August 4th to 6th

I will be attending the O's versus Angels series on Monday (Teix's debut) and Tuesday.  If any SOCAL CCs would like to meet up with me, please post a message ASAP.  I want to pick up tickets relatively soon.  Here are the matchups according to the Sun:

Monday: Dennis Sarfate (4-2, 4.00) vs. Angels' Joe Saunders (14-5, 3.09)

Tuesday: Starters: Garrett Olson (7-5, 5.90) vs. Angels' Jon Garland (9-6, 4.30)

Wednesday: Nothing posted yet.

so... what you're saying is

we’re going to get swept?

Kevbo: [to George Sherrill] George, you look a lot like Vin Diesel...

Flatbill: Let's get somethin' straight... Vin Diesel looks like me.

anybody knows

who’s Wednesday starter? The Sun is listing Olson on 3 days rest. Guthrie is next in line to start but he’ll be starting on three day’s rest on Wednesday. I’m assuming they’ll bring someone up for Tuesday and start Olson on Wednesday but I haven’t heard anything.

I'll almost guarantee it won't be Penn

Cormier?

I'm guessing not one out of the pen, but then who will it be?

He’s not gonna poach two relievers in a week.

Chris Waters went 7.0 last night and only gave up 1 hit, 3 BBs and 7 Ks. But he’s 3-6 with a 5.70 ERA in 122.0 total IP between Bowie and Norfolk and has allowed 117 hits and 51 walks (with 94 Ks) for a WHIP of 1.377. He’s also given up 12 HRs, or about 1 every 10 innings. He’d be the logical guy from Nofrolk in terms of rest, but I just don’t see it happening.

Hayden Penn pitched 7.o on July 28, which was Monday. He’s in a bad spot, rest-wise. Hold him until Wednesday, and that’s 8 days off. Pitch him on turn, and he’s set to go Sunday and no-go Wednesday. I don’t think it will be Penn.

I’m not sure – the O’s have painted themselves into a bit of a corner here.

I'm going to try to make Wednesday's day game

I haven’t been there in 15 years or so, so I have no idea where to sit.

Any recommendations? I see some front row field boxes on stubhub for $30.

for a day game

It might be better to sit on the 3rd base side because you might get some shade.

I think I am going to try for Wednesday.

I join the ranks of SoCal tomorrow. I am currently in Green Valley, AZ
