Wow
They marketing department is actually doing a great job this year. People will go to this game just to get the DVD, and burn it. Or reenact it a million times on youtube with their Uncle Frank on keytar playing all the parts as they and their family nimbly waffle around. That’s entertainment, friends.
serious...
the wild bill tee was a stroke of genius, too.

Wild Bill Hagy T-Shirt Night was unexpected
and a great gesture by this team. Never saw that coming. That was one of the moments that told me “THis team may be starting to get it” when it came to embracing Baltimore and its own fans.

Anybody who gets more than one
I’ll be more than happy to pay a nominal fee for one.

Holy crap
I am definitely going to this game. DEFINITELY.
"We’re not concerned about what other teams think. I know teams come in here thinking we’re playing the Orioles. And then 9 innings later, they got the loss, they know what we’re about." ~Adam Jones

or else its ebay time again…
and stacey, my love offer still stands.

Ah...c'mon...
We supported that team better than NO had since it had been there. Do I and most people in the city wish they would have stayed? Of course. But I don’t really think we “tried to steal” them. Seattle? That’s a different story. The attorney (from Seattle) for Clay Bennett (from OKC) kicked the City of Seattle’s attorney’s ass.

Yeah I know
I’m just messing with you. I think yall did a great job supporting the Hornets. I love the Hornets and I’m considering getting season tickets this year ($550 for the bottom portion of the upper deck on the side of the goal) but I’ve gotta say that I think that a pro baseball team would do a lot better in New Orleans just because baseball is a lot more popular down here.

I'll
always be a closet Hornets fan. I suppose I’ll have to root for the new team since we’ll actually be able to host a team of our own. My wife’s company had tix 5 rows off the floor behind the visitors bench. I’ve never been much of an NBA fan but it was a lot of fun to see guys like Lebron, Yao, AI, McGrady, etc. Plus I loved watching PJ Brown that first year work with all those young players. We ran in a 5K (race for the cure) and the entire team worked a water station on the street corner handing out water to everyone which I thought was cool.

I am
kind of excited but very cautious about the Sonics…or whatever they will be called. I think we saw a tremendous job done by the front office of NO with the pick of Paul and the move for the big guy. That will be hard to duplicate with the new squad. They do have a good base with the TEX kid but got really unlucky with the lottery. There is a kid, Blake Griffin, coming out of OU next year who is projected #1 in the draft that I’m afraid they might try to draft. That would be a lot of pressure on a kid playing in his backyard.

OMFG. I WANT IT.
"The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again."
